Terms of Use
These terms cover your use of the Hourverse app and this website, both provided by Pescao Labs LLC (“we” or “us”). By using Hourverse, you agree to them.
The app
Hourverse shows verses of Scripture on your iPhone. You may use it for personal, non-commercial purposes. Please don't reverse-engineer, resell, or misuse the app.
Scripture text
Hourverse displays the Berean Standard Bible (BSB), which its publishers have dedicated to the public domain. We show the text exactly as published and don't alter it. Shortened previews in small widgets are marked with “…”.
Apple's standard terms
The app is licensed to you under Apple's Licensed Application End User License Agreement, together with these terms. If the two conflict, Apple's agreement controls.
Subscriptions
If we offer Hourverse Plus, the price, billing period, and any free trial will be shown before you buy. Payment is charged to your Apple Account. Subscriptions renew automatically unless you cancel at least 24 hours before the end of the current period. You can manage or cancel them in your iPhone's Settings under your name, then Subscriptions. Refunds are handled by Apple under its policies.
Provided as-is
Hourverse is provided “as is” and “as available,” without warranties of any kind, to the extent the law allows. We don't promise that the app will always be available, error-free, or that widgets will update at an exact moment, since iOS controls widget timing.
Limitation of liability
To the extent the law allows, Pescao Labs LLC isn't liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of Hourverse. Our total liability for any claim is limited to the amount you paid us for the app in the 12 months before the claim.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Florida, USA, without regard to its conflict-of-law rules.
Changes
We may update these terms. When we do, we'll change the effective date above. If you keep using Hourverse after a change, that means you accept the new terms.
