Privacy Policy
The short version: Hourverse has no accounts and no ads, and we don't sell data. The Bible text is built into the app. To make setup easier, we count a few anonymous steps, such as whether the widget was added, and none of that identifies you.
Who we are
Hourverse is made by Pescao Labs LLC, a Florida limited liability company (“we” or “us”). We are responsible for the data described here. You can reach us at privacy@hourverse.app.
What we don't collect
- No accounts. You never give us a name, email address, or password to use the app.
- No advertising and no advertising identifiers. We don't track you across other apps or websites.
- No selling or renting of data to anyone.
- No location, contacts, photos, or health data.
Data that stays on your iPhone
The Bible text is built into the app, and the hourly verse is chosen on your device. Your settings, such as which widget tutorial you've seen or your notification preference, are stored on your iPhone. Deleting the app removes them.
Anonymous usage analytics
We use TelemetryDeck, a privacy-focused analytics service, to learn whether people can set up Hourverse easily. The app sends a short signal only at these moments:
- onboarding started, each onboarding screen viewed, and onboarding completed
- the widget tutorial was shown, and a Hourverse widget was detected on your device
- whether you allowed or declined notifications
Each signal comes with standard technical details from TelemetryDeck's SDK, such as the iOS version, app version, device model, and a timestamp. It also includes an anonymized identifier that is created for each installation and hashed before it leaves your device. That identifier can't be traced back to you. According to TelemetryDeck, IP addresses are not stored. We don't send the verses you see, your name, your email, or anything you type. We don't combine this data with other data to identify you, and we don't use it for advertising.

Notifications
Hourverse may ask whether you'd like notifications. Saying no doesn't change how the widgets work. You can change your choice at any time in your iPhone's Settings under Notifications. Reminders from Hourverse are scheduled on your device.
Purchases
If we offer an optional subscription (Hourverse Plus), Apple handles the payment. We never see your card or Apple Account details. Apple tells the app whether a subscription is active so it can unlock the right features. Apple's handling of your purchase is covered by Apple's Privacy Policy.
When you email us
If you write to us, we receive your email address and whatever you send. We use it only to reply and help you, and we delete it when it's no longer needed. Email to hourverse.app addresses passes through Cloudflare's email forwarding service.
This website
hourverse.app uses no cookies, no analytics, and no third-party scripts or fonts. It is hosted by Cloudflare, which processes basic request information, such as IP addresses, to deliver the site and protect it from abuse.
Children
Hourverse is suitable for all ages and doesn't knowingly collect personal information from anyone, including children under 13. Because there are no accounts and analytics are anonymous, we have no personal information about children to collect, use, or share. If you believe a child has sent us personal information by email, contact us and we'll delete it.
Your rights
Depending on where you live, you may have rights to access, correct, or delete personal data. Because the app doesn't collect personal data and the analytics signals can't be linked to you, we usually have nothing to look up. You're always welcome to ask at privacy@hourverse.app, and we'll answer.
Changes to this policy
If we change what the app collects, we'll update this page and the effective date above before the change ships. For important changes, we'll also tell you in the app.
